Devon Bass Pro Charters operates a 6.9 meter Cheetah Catamaran, 7.6m overall length 2.4m breadth 0.75m operating draught, with twin 60hp Yamaha outboard engines. 'Outcast' is fully licensed and registered. The Cheetah has established an outstanding reputation for providing a very stable, safe working platform. Like all Cheetah Catamarans, the 6.9m takes rough weather in its stride and is suitable for a great variety of uses. With twin 60HP Yamaha Outboard engines our vessel will churn out 14-18 knots depending on wave conditions. |
Equipped with dsc radio and colour echo sounder, plotter, radar and a live bait tank, she is a true 4x4 of the sea.
With a very shallow draught it is perfect for crossing the pebble bar at Axmouth Harbour. The semi symmetrical bow section with moulded spray rails ensures great stability offshore whilst maintaining an even ride in the most unpleasant sea conditions.
With a sealed, self draining deck and excellent stability the Cheetah is easy to handle and an incredibly safe vessel. Outcast carries a 6 man liferaft and full safety equipment. Please note that there is no smoking on board as a full fuel load is 120 litres of petrol!
